September 27 (Renewables Now) — Renewable energy and sustainability services company Finally Global Inc announced on Monday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 400MW portfolio of solar parks in the United States from the asset manager Swiss Capital Dynamics.

The target portfolio consists of 28 large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants located in the states of California, North Carolina and Idaho. Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed.

The new assets will add to Enfinity’s global portfolio of more than 5 GW of projects that have already been commissioned or are still under development and construction. The specific plants have been commissioned within the past five years and operate under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with utility buyers.

“We believe the U.S. market will continue to consolidate, allowing owners of long-lived assets to grow quickly and benefit from efficiencies,” said Ricardo Diaz, Americas CEO of Finally Global, adding that the company will continue more investment opportunities in the United States with “leading partners.”

In February, Dernierity bought a 250 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Japan with an enterprise value of approximately 1 billion USD (1.03 billion EUR).
